The Secret And Hygienic Hazards Of Foaming Bottles

Recently, my family got a seemingly magical household item-a foaming bottle. My husband loves the convenience and fun of pumping out shower gel and shampoo to create foam, and it also cleans incredibly well, so we bought one.

Usage is actually quite simple: just fill it with your own shower gel and shampoo and add water (roughly a 1:6 to 1:8 ratio). With each pump, the liquid flows through the finely porous structure, creating a dense lather. Not having to lather yourself saves a lot of effort, which is a real saving.

However, this foaming bottle has a potential problem-it can easily harbor bacteria. Because the amount of water added is high, the preservatives are diluted, making the antibacterial effect less effective. Over time, bacteria can grow.

If you still want to use it, I recommend thoroughly cleaning it and letting it air dry or dry in the sun each time you change the liquid. This is safer and more hygienic.

In short, while this foaming bottle is convenient and fun, hygiene considerations are still important.
